Have you ever thought “Hey I wish I had a beer tasting non-alcoholic soft drink”? I haven’t. Never. I’m Brazilian. Our beer is pretty much a soft drink. The literal translation is keg brew. It is a non alcoholic soft drink made with malt extract and fruit juices (I assume). Yeah, that’s Germans for you! Take what is leftover from beer making add some juice and market as a soft drink. It looks like light golden beer, and does a fair impression of beer froth. What does it tastes like? Beer it doesn’t. It smells very yeasty and tastes lemony and a vaguely remind of something brewed. It has a slightly remind of a malty whisky.
